Making a horror, science fiction or fantasy series for goggle-box can be a tricky thing. For starters, you want the story to appeal to as rough an audience as possible, but at the same time you don’t want to turn off the hardcore fans who will plop with you through thick and thin.

I don’t have HBO, so I’m waiting for Seasoned 4 on DVD. But until watching that clip, I was sooo against Sookie and Eric together. But now, I feel like I should accept out if I have any distant relatives or old acquaintances with HBO. I cannot believe I am missing this! With that kiss from last shades of night I am officially Team Eric.

I began reading Charlaine Harris’s series, then called the Southern Vampire Mysteries, since before post four came out, and have decipher them all in calm. I was puzzled when I found out that HBO was effective to vigorous a TV fitting of it. Why this particular series? Why not Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series? (It would have been opportune, what with all of the sex and all.) There were others as well, like Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld and MaryJanice Davidson’s Ruler Betsy series — all of which have the titillating tones that HBO would have loved. So why this record series? Now I conscious why, but more on that later.
