Toshiba’s upcoming Android capsule will be considerably thinner than its first effort, with micro SD, HDMI and USB ports a notable participate. Thin and light tablets are something of a legal quagmire at the moment, but if the leaked pictures are correct, Toshiba might have something tasty indeed on its hands — if it can get it to market. Leaks, or over marketing strategy? That’s a tough one to call, but if it was a leak, Toshiba can abut Samsung in having its IFA surprises spoilt prior to the kickoff of the m show on September 1st.

Lenovo threw a small shindig in New York City today to launch its new ThinkPad Panel Android 3.1 Honeycomb slate. We were there to get some hands-on time with the latest memorial geared toward the business user.

The ThinkPad Tablet might seem like a guideline 10.1-inch, Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet that you have seen before when you first take a look at it. Upon closer inspection, though, you can see there are numerous features that Lenovo has implemented to generate it more appealing to the business road warrior. Included in the tablet's 14.5mm mount is a full-size USB host port, a full-size SD card slot, a proprietary dilute port, a micro-USB port, a mini-HDMI port, and a SIM card slot for 3G connectivity. Oh and there is a capacitive stylus tucked in there for handwriting honour.
